Senior Manager, Tax Compliance & Reporting, Financial Services
Fully remote, working from home
Salary DoE (£110,000 - £130,000 indicative)
A global financial services business will be hiring an experienced Senior Manager to take ownership of tax reporting and compliance (largely outsourced) for a complex and multinational group.
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Tax Director and managing a small team of experienced tax professionals (including the indirect tax workstream), the successful candidate will be a key member of the senior leadership team in tax and a logical (long-term) successor to the Tax Director.
- The successful candidate’s responsibilities will be focused on oversight of multi-jurisdictional (UK & non-US) tax reporting, tax compliance, tax governance and project/stakeholder management.
- Alongside team management and mentorship, there is a significant element of transformation, automation and process improvement to this role.

The Successful Candidate
- ACA/CTA qualification
- Robust UK CT knowledge and experience of identifying and evaluating tax issues involving other jurisdictions
- Extensive corporate tax compliance and tax reporting experience (IFRS & US GAAP), with experience of working with both current and deferred taxes
- Significant experience working with complex and multinational financial services businesses (in-house experience preferred)
- Solid experience managing and leading a team of direct reports
- Fluency in mainstream languages considered advantageous

Additional Information
- While this is a fully remote position, the employee will be UK-based and must have the right to work permanently in the UK (employer sponsorship is not available)
