We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join a leading global hedge fund in a newly created Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director position.
This is a strategic and highly commercial role, partnering directly with senior stakeholders across Investments, Investor Relations, Legal, Finance, and Operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on the tax aspects of fund structuring, new product launches, investor initiatives, and broader business growth.
Whilst the primary focus of the role will be fund and investment structuring, the individual will also provide oversight and support across a range of corporate and operational tax matters affecting the management company and wider group.
This opportunity would suit individuals currently working in-house within an alternative asset manager, hedge fund, private markets firm, or investment manager, although high-calibre candidates from leading professional services firms with significant hedge fund experience will also be considered.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
