Senior Tax Advisory Manager
Global Hedge Fund | London
£140-165,000 + Bonus + Package
We are partnering with a globally recognised hedge fund to appoint a Senior Tax Advisory Manager into its high-performing Tax team. This is a unique opportunity to join a business where tax is viewed as a genuine commercial partner, providing strategic advice across investment, trading and business initiatives.
This is an entirely advisory-focused position with no routine compliance responsibilities. The successful individual will work closely with front office, legal, finance and senior leadership teams, supporting some of the firm's most sophisticated transactions, trading strategies and business developments across global markets.
The Opportunity
The role will focus on providing proactive tax advice in relation to the firm's investment and trading activities, helping to shape commercial decision-making and ensuring tax considerations are embedded into business strategy from the outset. Working within a highly collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment, you will have exposure to a broad range of asset classes, transactions and jurisdictions, while partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
