Bruin is recruiting a Senior Manager

Bruin is recruiting a Senior Manager to join a growing Alternative Funds Tax team within a Big 4 firm.

Working across private equity, credit, hedge and real estate funds, you will lead the delivery of UK and international tax advisory and compliance services.

The role

  • Lead advice on UK and international tax matters relevant to alternative investment funds.
  • Oversee corporation tax and partnership tax compliance from start to finish, taking responsibility for technical quality and delivery.
  • Manage your own client portfolio, independently leading meetings and acting as a trusted tax adviser.
  • Work with overseas teams on international tax matters affecting fund clients.
  • Lead and coach colleagues on technical matters and manage competing client deadlines.
  • Develop existing client relationships and initiate business development opportunities.

  • Strong UK tax knowledge and a track record of overseeing tax advisory and compliance work for Fund clients.
  • Experience managing delivery teams and explaining complex tax matters clearly to clients is essential.
  • You will be ACA, CA or CTA qualified, a qualified solicitor, or hold an international equivalent. Relevant experience within an alternative investment fund’s tax team is also welcomed.
