As US/UK Tax Manager / Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a comprehensive client list and advising clients in connection with their personal tax affairs. You will become part of the management team and play an important role in the continued success and development of the private client tax department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties…
- Manage a portfolio of HNW private clients across US/UK tax matters.
- Provide high-quality tax advice to clients in connection with their personal tax affairs.
- Contribute to the operational success of the firm through management meetings, committee membership and wider business involvement.
- Support department work planning, appraisals and the development of junior team members.
- Provide both technical and day-to-day guidance to more junior colleagues.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver a partner-led, high-quality service.
- Work closely with senior management and benefit from mentorship, coaching and ongoing career development.

Previous experience
- Previous experience working in a US/UK private client tax role.
- Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of HNW clients.
- Currently operating at Manager level, or ready to step into a managerial position.
- Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, with the ability to advise clients confidently.
- Experience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members.
- ATT and/or EA qualification essential.
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused and collaborative approach.
