About the Job
Reporting to the Tax Directors and Partners, the Private Client Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio and completing the following duties:
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and estates.
- Advise on inheritance tax, succession planning and intergenerational wealth.
- Manage residence, domicile and international private client matters.
- Advise on offshore trusts and cross-border structures.
- Lead complex private client tax advisory and planning projects.
- Support OMB restructuring projects, including mergers, demergers, acquisitions and profit extraction.
- Provide technical oversight and review of personal and trust tax compliance.
- Manage complex HMRC enquiries, investigations and disclosures.
- Identify additional advisory opportunities across the client portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.
- Support proposals, pitches and wider business development activity.
- Manage, mentor and develop junior members of the tax team.
- Work collaboratively with other tax and advisory service lines.

Previous Experience

- Previous experience working within Private Client Tax in an accountancy practice.
- Currently operating at Senior Manager level or an experienced Manager ready to progress.
- Strong experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and estates.
- Experience across inheritance tax, trusts, succession planning or international private client tax.
- Strong client management and technical review experience.
- Experience supervising and developing junior team members.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in business development.
- CTA qualified.
- STEP qualified or experience with trusts would be desirable.
