Job Title
An established accountancy practice is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join its growing team.
The role offers responsibility for a varied portfolio of HNW individuals, trusts, estates, and business owners, alongside exposure to more complex advisory and tax planning work.
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of private clients, acting as a trusted adviser and working closely with Partners and Directors on more complex matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of HNW and private clients
- Acting as a key point of contact for individuals, trustees, and professional advisers
- Overseeing personal tax, trust, and estate compliance
- Advising across areas including IHT, CGT, income tax, and trusts
- Identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities
- Supporting complex trust, estate, and succession planning projects
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence and enquiries where required
- Reviewing work and providing technical guidance to the wider team
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team
- Building strong, long-term client relationships and contributing to the growth of the portfolio

What We're Looking For
- CTA qualified, or ACA/ACCA qualified with significant personal tax experience
- Strong UK practice background
- Proven experience managing a private client portfolio
- Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, trusts, and estates
- Experience working with HNW/UHNW individuals
- Good exposure to IHT, CGT, and trust-related matters
- Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- A commercial and proactive approach to client service
