Senior Tech TA Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Tech TA Specialist based in United Kingdom.
As a Senior Tech TA Specialist, you’ll own end-to-end recruitment for engineering and product roles, helping shape the growth of high-performing technical teams.
You’ll work closely with engineering and product leaders to understand hiring priorities, define candidate profiles, and build effective recruitment strategies.
The role combines proactive technical sourcing with structured assessment, stakeholder partnership, and candidate relationship management.
You’ll recruit across backend, frontend, QA, infrastructure, data, and product disciplines, with a focus on experienced technical talent.
Your technical literacy will allow you to assess candidates’ technical depth, problem-solving capabilities, and behavioral strengths with confidence.
You’ll use recruitment data and pipeline insights to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and continuously raise the hiring bar.

Accountabilities:
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering and product positions, from sourcing and initial outreach through assessment, stakeholder coordination, and closing.
- Proactively source and engage senior technical talent across backend, frontend, QA, infrastructure, data, and product disciplines.
- Partner closely with engineering and product leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Build targeted sourcing strategies and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future technical hiring needs.
- Screen candidates for technical depth, problem-solving ability, experience, and behavioral signals.
- Run structured and efficient interview processes while maintaining a high-quality, transparent, and engaging candidate experience.
- Coordinate closely with hiring teams to ensure consistent assessment standards and efficient decision-making.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date candidate pipelines and recruitment data within the ATS.
- Provide regular insights into hiring progress, pipeline health, conversion rates, bottlenecks, and relevant talent-market trends.
- Use recruitment data and funnel metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and make informed hiring decisions.
- Continuously challenge and improve recruitment practices to help raise the overall hiring bar.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-cycle, in-house technical recruiting experience, ideally within a startup, scale-up, or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting engineers and technical professionals across engineering and product functions.
- Strong technical literacy and confidence discussing areas such as distributed systems, backend technologies, cloud infrastructure, and modern AI tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including proactive sourcing, candidate assessment, stakeholder management, and closing.
- Strong hiring judgment, with the ability to evaluate both technical capability and behavioral indicators.
- Excellent sourcing and candidate-engagement skills, particularly when targeting senior and highly competitive technical talent.
- Data-driven and structured approach to recruitment, with experience using funnel metrics and pipeline health indicators to guide decisions.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and accountable, with a strong ownership mindset and bias toward action.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with technical hiring leaders.
- Fluency in English is essential.
