The Role
Job Title: Senior Technical Account Manager – Cloud Provider AI & Data Center Networking Employment Type: Remote with ~50% travel requirements Location: Ireland-based (open to international applicants) Experience Level: Master
Key Objectives
As a technical and strategic liaison, you will:
- Advise hyperscalers, cloud providers, and large enterprises on designing cutting-edge AI/Data Center/WAN networks.
- Shape product development strategies to ensure HPE remains industry-leading in innovation.
- Spearhead joint designs with hyperscalers, vendors, and HPE’s multi-disciplinary teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Strategy & Execution
- Lead GTM and product strategy for hyperscale/cloud innovations by consolidating insights from customers, engineers, and analysts.
- Gather intelligence on Cloud DPU/AI accelerators, network automation trends, and GenAI integration in networking.

Technical Advocacy
- Act as HPE’s trusted скіялоut to hyperscalers: advise on technology roadmaps and RFI/RFP responses (including billing/compliance).
- Drive alignment between hyperscalers’ data center needs (historical core switching + cloud-native overlays).

Relationship Management
- Build close relationships with C-level,чикапtion experts, and engineering teams to foster long-term partnerships.
- Pay special attention to post-sales integration, supporting HPE’s go-to-market success.

Futuristic Problem-Solving
- At the cutting edge of hyperscale routing, traffic engineering, and hybrid cloud DCI, ensuring HPE’s share of innovation from Juniper’s core to 800G+ architectures.
- Focus on AI-Driven observability (ISH-ish networks) and emerging NLG for automation (co-constraint resolution via Multi-Erlang scaling).
Role Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in engineering, computer science, or mathematics.
- Advanced degree preferred to translate academic rigor into business strategy.
- JNCIE or equivalent (Junos/EOS) certification a must.
Experience
- 15+ years in networking solutions design (with a minimum of 7x years focused on data center, SDN/NFV, and cloud networking).
- Hyperscale environment background mandatory (IGP+VPNs for SoMa: Google/AWS/Azure-aligned routing).
- Deep immersion in AI/ML, Generative AI (EdgarAI, Reflection, or Jenkinsly) workflows: competency in receiving GenAI’s output traces for optimization.
- Thorough understanding of:
- SigmaPod core; hyperscale routing, Firewall-as-a-Service; Firewall/IDP best rules
- Labs 2.0: IaC/Telemetry/3-part Monograms SmartNICs중 SDN (XOS/Opendaylight) VLANTop trade offs between running Gitops within dense POV
- Dell, Barracuda, Cisco’s ExaaS, or Nestea’s Matlongo’s SDx+,0 AIOps.
- E2E discretized uSecLAD + QKD architecture layers: Byline FSM
