Role
We are seeking a senior technical expert to provide independent architectural oversight and technical assurance for a Digital programme. This role is crucial in shaping robust digital solutions and integrations across national public sector services, supporting procurement processes, and defining clear technical requirements. You will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with client teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, effective digital services.

Responsibilities
- Provide independent architectural oversight and guidance for national public sector digital services and integrations.
- Conduct technical assurance reviews to ensure solutions meet required standards for quality and reliability.
- Define and articulate clear technical requirements for complex integrated systems.
- Review and provide expert feedback on technical designs and proposed solutions.
- Support the ongoing procurement process, including shaping technical requirements, contributing to Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation, and evaluating supplier proposals.
- Collaborate effectively with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and delivery teams to shape and refine technical solutions.
- Offer trusted technical challenge and advice to ensure optimal outcomes and best practice implementation.

Essential Skills
- Strong background in enterprise or solution architecture, coupled with significant technical assurance experience.
- Demonstrable ability to define requirements and review designs for complex, integrated systems.
- Proven experience in supporting delivery-side procurements, including technical specification and supplier evaluation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to challenge constructively and effectively.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including integrations, along with proficiency in .NET and broader enterprise platforms.
Desirable: Previous experience within the public sector.
