Senior Technical Architect | £505/day Inside IR35 | SC Eligible | Start 19 Oct

I'm hiring a Senior Technical Architect for a major central government programme, delivered through one of the UK's most respected digital consultancies. The services you design will be used by millions of people across the UK.
Interviews are happening now: one with the consultancy, then one with the client. Strong profiles are going straight through.
What you get
- £505 per day, inside IR35
- Start 19 October. Ideal if your current contract is ending.
- No hub nearby? No problem. You only travel to Sheffield, Blackpool, Manchester or Newcastle when you're needed.
- SC eligible is enough. You don't need active clearance to apply.
- Real ownership: your designs, through governance, with your name on them

What you'll do
- Design technical solutions from concept to detailed architecture
- Present and defend designs at government design authorities
- Produce statements of work and architecture deliverables
- Turn complex requirements into secure, scalable services with engineering teams
What we're looking for
- Senior Technical or Solution Architect experience
- A track record of taking designs through governance and design authorities
- UK public sector experience (a big plus)
- AWS and containers (Docker, Kubernetes), which will make you stand out
- SC clearance, active or eligible (5+ years' UK residency)
