The Client
Our client is a well-established professional organisation operating within a member-focused environment, with a significant technology estate supporting its membership, learning and business operations.
As part of an ongoing technology transformation programme, they are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

You will be expected to get into the detail quickly, understand existing processes and systems, identify gaps and help drive improvements through to implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business, functional and technical requirements.
- Working with stakeholders to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Producing AS-IS and TO-BE process maps, user stories, use cases, business rules and acceptance criteria.
- Supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 requirements across areas such as CRM, Customer Engagement, Membership, Student Management, Business Central and/or Finance & Operations.
- Working with IT teams, developers, architects and suppliers on system configuration and enhancements.
- Supporting integrations between Dynamics 365, Learning Management Systems and third-party applications.
- Understanding APIs, data flows and system interfaces.
- Supporting data migration, transformation, mapping and validation activities.
- Developing UAT requirements, test scenarios, test scripts and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinating UAT, defect management, retesting and business sign-off.
- Supporting project delivery, implementation and system upgrades.
- Acting as the bridge between business users and technical teams.
What You Need to Be Successful

You will ideally have:
- 5+ years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience across Dynamics CRM, Customer Engagement, Business Central, Finance & Operations or related modules.
- Experience working with LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace or TalentLMS.
- Strong business process analysis and requirements engineering experience.
- Excellent AS-IS/TO-BE process mapping and gap analysis skills.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs and data migration/transformation.
- Strong understanding of UAT, SIT, test scripts, acceptance criteria and defect management.
- Ability to produce high-quality functional and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps would be advantageous.
- SQL and Power BI experience would be beneficial.
Most importantly, you will be someone who can quickly understand a complex environment, build relationships and start delivering value without needing significant hand-holding.
