Senior Technical Business Analyst
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Technical Business Analyst.
Our team is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to provide subject expertise and bridge our engineering and business functions. Our team designs and develops AI-enabled products and frameworks, supporting capabilities within Group Functions Technology supporting GCOO. This is a critical role to enable business and function lines across the bank to accelerate the delivery of AI use cases in a safe and consistent manner.

In this role you will:
- Work closely with business teams to understand their requirements, whilst ensuring requirements remain true to the technical roadmap of our AI Products and frameworks
- Drive best practice across our business teams and implement AI tooling
- Clear Communication: Translating complex AI and technical concepts into simple terms for non-technical staff and business leaders
- Strategic Influence: Guiding senior management so that technology choices actively support shared business goals
- Complex Problem Solving: Handling system-wide challenges and creating pathways during times of uncertainty
- Mentorship: Nurturing talent, encouraging domain understanding, and building a strong technical culture

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Lead/Senior Business Analyst within an agile delivery technology-led environment
- Leadership experience within a global and/or distributed team environment
- Previous experience in building out new product capabilities for AI solutions and data programmes
- Experience of operating with AI capabilities (or within AI-enabled product teams)
- Strong stakeholder management experience, engaging and influencing stakeholders up to Managing Director (MD) level
- Skilled in eliciting and documenting business requirements, writing high-quality technical user stories, and translating technical documentation into clear, actionable deliverables within technical engineering teams
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, and AI models and how they apply to data/AI delivery
