Hawksworth are hiring now for a ‘Senior Technical Consultant’ for a client of ours that are a leading provider of technology solutions to the global financial services industry, helping financial institutions and wealth management businesses deliver innovative technology platforms and services.
This position offers a base salary of up £100k - £130k base salary. Hybrid working is also available of 1-2 days in the office per week (central London).
This is a senior client-facing role, responsible for solution design, technical consultancy and architectural alignment across complex client engagements. You’ll act as a key bridge between client architecture, business requirements and the client’s technology development teams.

🔑 What we're looking for:
- Strong experience in Technical Consulting / Solution Design within complex software environments
- Proven experience designing complex web-based and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and integration patterns
- Excellent Java expertise, ideally including Spring, Spring Boot and RESTful services
- Experience with AWS / cloud-based solution design
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations and service-oriented architectures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with senior technical stakeholders, including Enterprise and Technical Architects
- Financial Services experience is essential, ideally within wealth management / investment platforms
