About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to design, implement and optimise NetSuite solutions around customer requirements. You’ll research, code and test reliable customisations, while taking the lead on complex technical challenges and development requirements across customer projects.
As a senior member of the Technical team, you’ll provide technical guidance to stakeholders, support and mentor colleagues, and help ensure that solutions are sustainable, well documented and delivered in line with best practice.

- Robust, scalable NetSuite solutions meet agreed customer requirements and follow technical best practice.
- Complex technical issues are diagnosed accurately, resolved promptly and followed by effective preventive measures.
- Integrations maintain reliable data consistency and seamless workflows across systems.
- Technical designs, configurations and customisations are clearly documented and shared with colleagues.
- Solutions deliver measurable business value, with agreed outcomes such as reduced manual effort, improved accuracy, faster processing or stronger user adoption evidenced after go-live.
- Project teams and stakeholders receive confident, practical technical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy NetSuite customisations, scripts and workflows that meet client requirements.
- Use SuiteScript, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow and other NetSuite development tools to extend platform functionality.
- Integrate NetSuite with third-party systems, applications and APIs.
- Develop and maintain integration solutions that support data consistency and seamless workflows across systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring agreed standards and best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design sustainable solutions.
- Analyse and troubleshoot complex issues, provide timely resolutions and implement preventive measures.
- Document technical designs, configurations and customisations for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Keep up to date with the latest NetSuite releases, features and best practices.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and optimisations that enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Support and mentor colleagues, sharing technical knowledge and practical guidance.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing workflows, saved searches, custom forms and record types in NetSuite.
- An AI trailblazer who proactively explores, evaluates and champions responsible uses of AI, turning emerging capabilities into practical improvements for solution design, development, troubleshooting and customer outcomes, while sharing knowledge and helping colleagues adopt effective, secure and ethical ways of working.
- Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteBundler, SuiteCloud Development Framework, front-end and back-end Suitelets, and other SuiteCloud elements.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical analysis and design, coding, testing and implementation of software customisations.
- Strong JavaScript programming skills and experience working with APIs.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proven consulting mindset: able to challenge assumptions constructively, present options and trade-offs, influence senior stakeholders, and remain accountable for measurable customer outcomes.
- Experience applying modern engineering practices such as peer review, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and secure coding to deliver reliable, production-ready customisations and integrations.
- A structured approach to analysing complex problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
