About Narwhal
Narwhal Labs is a Bristol-based agentic AI company building DeepBlue OS — an autonomous communications platform that handles voice, SMS, email, and WhatsApp for SMB and enterprise clients. We are Series A stage, around 40 people, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 aligned, with strong investor backing and real commercial momentum — including a live enterprise trial that will determine our path to a 100,000+ SMB rollout.
Role Purpose
Own and single-handedly lead the end-to-end enterprise sales process for Narwhal — from technical discovery through to POC, RFP, and close — acting as the senior technical voice in the room and the link between sales, product, and engineering. This is a hands-on, selling-focused role in its first phase, with the remit to build and lead a technical sales team as Narwhal scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and run the full enterprise sales cycle end-to-end: technical discovery, solution design, POC, RFP response, and close
- Act as senior technical escalation point and lead voice on complex or high-value deals
- Own technical sales strategy: POC methodology, demo standards, RFP process
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership on deal strategy and roadmap input
- Represent technical sales in leadership/GTM planning
- Build scalable technical pre-sales processes as the team grows
- In time, hire and lead a team of Sales Engineers/Technical Sales Executives as deal volume warrants
- Attend enterprise level events and have one to one conversations with C’level decision makers and budget holders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
