Senior Technical Implementation Engineer

Location: UK | Remote
Salary: Competitive
Security Clearance: DV Clearance or eligibility required

We are recruiting for a Senior Technical Implementation Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company operating across defence and national security.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on deploying and scaling a DevSecOps platform across UK-Government, NATO and secure cloud environments.

The Role

You will take ownership of technical implementations from scoping through to deployment, working closely with customers, Product and Engineering teams. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading complex technical implementations and deployments
  • Hands-on DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Writing and maintaining Go (Golang) code and scripts
  • CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues
  • Improving deployment processes and tooling
  • Working directly with customers and technical stakeholders
  • Feeding customer requirements and technical insights back into Product & Engineering

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Technical Implementation, or a related engineering role
  • Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience
  • Proven Go/Golang development experience
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation
  • Cloud and containerisation experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • A genuine start-up/scale-up mindset and willingness to work in a fast-moving, evolving environment

Security Clearance

DV clearance or eligibility to obtain DV is essential. Candidates must be UK nationals (or qualifying dual nationals) and meet the UK residency requirements for DV vetting.
