Senior Technical Manager
Hertfordshire
£80,000-£90,000
Hybrid Working (2 Days in Office)
Would you like to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business, part of a multi-million-pound group, that values itself at being at the forefront of innovative new products and challenger brands. They are looking for a driven, dynamic & ambitious Senior Technical Manager that wants to help drive the business forward and disrupt the marketplace! (in a good way!)
Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Technical Manager:-
- Lead the global technical strategy for technically taking products to market
- Manage and develop a team of Technical Managers both in the UK and US
- Work closely with overseas manufacturing facilities in the US and Europe
- Ownership of major technical, quality & food safety issues, RCA and implement corrective actions
- Support the selection and onboarding of new manufacturing partners
- Improve efficiency, reduce costs, drive continuous improvement and performance
- Present technical information to senior leaders within the business

Knowledge, Experience & Attributes needed to be the Senior Technical Manager:-
- Character character character!! - driven, ambitious, innovative, motivated, forward thinking
- Knowledge of food safety and technical standards in manufacturing
- Comfortable with traveling overseas to manufacturing facilities
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Able to spin multiple plates, where no day is ever the same
- Previously been involved with NPD & NPi projects
- Results drive - continuous improvement approach
