Mackle Petfoods is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Technical Manager to lead our technical function and help drive excellence in product safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading pet food manufacturers and play a key role in maintaining the high standards our customers and consumers expect.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, managing, and developing the Technical Team
- Maintaining BRCGS accreditation and driving continuous improvement within our Quality Management System
- Managing HACCP programmes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Leading customer, retailer, and certification audits
- Working closely with DAERA and other regulatory bodies
- Driving a strong food safety and quality culture throughout the business
- Supporting export certification and customer technical requirements

What We're Looking For
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline
- HACCP Level 4 qualification
- Previous experience managing BRCGS accreditation
- Minimum 5 years' management experience within food manufacturing, pet food, or a related industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing and motivating teams
