A strong opportunity for someone already working within food Technical or Quality who wants more ownership, broader exposure and a genuine step towards Technical Management.

Working closely with the Technical Manager, you’ll take responsibility for key technical workstreams and act as their deputy when required.

The role

Your key areas will include:

  • Supplier assurance, approval and auditing
  • Food Safety & Quality Management Systems
  • BRCGS, HACCP and customer compliance
  • Raw material and packaging risk assessments
  • Customer complaints, investigations and root cause analysis
  • Non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Audit readiness and continuous improvement
  • Providing technical leadership when required

You’ll have good experience within a food manufacturing Technical or Quality environment, with strong knowledge of food safety systems and auditing.
