Make an impact across our global technology environment
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Operations Specialist to help deliver reliable, secure, and effective technology services to Minitab employees across our international offices.
This is a hands-on, varied role combining end-user technical support, office technology and infrastructure, stakeholder management, security, and global TechOps initiatives. You’ll take ownership of technology environments across assigned locations, solve complex technical challenges, and help ensure our employees have the tools and services they need to do their best work.
If you enjoy combining technical expertise with excellent customer service—and want a role where you can make an impact across multiple countries and offices—this could be a great opportunity for you.
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Technical Operations Specialist, you’ll:
- Provide senior-level technical support to employees in person, remotely, and virtually across desktop, endpoint, network, telephony, mobile, and collaboration technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, connectivity, and other technology issues, helping minimise disruption and downtime.
- Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and relocate hardware, software, operating systems, and related equipment.
- Coordinate software deployments, patches, updates, and technology enhancements to maintain secure and reliable services.
- Manage and support office technology environments, including infrastructure, endpoints, telephony, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
- Work with vendors and service providers to deliver infrastructure, telephony, and office technology solutions.
- Visit office locations to assess requirements, implement improvements, and ensure technology environments remain operationally ready.
- Build strong relationships with local stakeholders, understanding their needs and taking ownership of technology initiatives.
- Contribute to global Technical Operations projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support corporate security programmes, employee onboarding, and security awareness activities.
- Partner with HR, Facilities, external providers, and other teams on building, technology, and security requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, reports, and knowledge resources to support consistent service delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
