Our Financial Planning team has been recognised by FT Adviser as one of the Top 50 firms in the UK, reflecting our focus on technical quality, client service and long-term relationships.

We are now seeking a Senior Technical Paraplanner to join our established and growing Financial Planning team based in Staverton, just outside of Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paraplanner to take on a senior technical role, supporting advisors with complex planning work and high-quality client outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Producing comprehensive financial planning reports across a broad range of advice areas
  • Drafting technical documents and client presentations, clearly explaining complex planning issues
  • Working closely with financial planners to support advice delivery for both new and existing clients
  • Liaising directly with clients, including ultra-high-net-worth individuals
  • Collaborating with the administration and wider planning team to support efficient client servicing

What We’re Looking For

  • At least five years’ experience in Financial Services, primarily in a paraplanning or technical role
  • Full Diploma in Financial Planning (essential), with progression towards Advanced Diploma or Chartered status
  • Recent experience supporting advice on personal protection, pre- and post-retirement planning and core financial planning areas
  • Experience using tools such as Microdecisions, Analytics, Voyant and CashCalc
  • A methodical, detail-focused approach with strong technical knowledge
  • A proactive attitude, confidence to use initiative and strong communication skills
