Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams to design scalable platform capabilities, support complex integrations with customer systems, and continuously improve platform performance, reliability, and security.

You are comfortable navigating complex technical environments and balancing innovative thinking with real-world architectural, infrastructure, and security constraints. You approach problems with structure and curiosity, using data and experimentation to inform decisions and improve platform capabilities over time.

You value outcomes over outputs and recognise that durable, high-impact results come from shipping well-designed, scalable solutions consistently as the platform and customer base grows.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and evolving the platform’s architecture, infrastructure, and security capabilities to support a growing customer base and increasing product complexity
  • Monitoring and improving platform performance, reliability, and scalability in collaboration with engineering
  • Incorporating cyber security, permissions models, and access controls into platform design to ensure secure, enterprise-grade product experiences
  • Supporting debugging and issue resolution across platform services, acting as a technical escalation point for complex system issues
  • Designing and shaping platform and integration capabilities that enable seamless connectivity for sophisticated private equity and asset management customers
  • Partnering closely with customers and internal teams to support complex integrations, including leading technical discovery sessions and integration calls
  • Applying technical and analytical expertise to understand complex problem spaces and assess their implications for product decisions and platform strategy
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted tools to support complex technical scoping, integration troubleshooting, and system investigation
  • Collaborating across Product and Engineering to deliver high-quality solutions while balancing customer needs with architectural and security considerations
  • Making data-informed recommendations to guide product development and platform improvements
