Product Manager - AI-Powered AML and Compliance Products

In this role you’ll have broad ownership and freedom to shape the product: run experiments, challenge existing approaches, launch new capabilities, and take ideas from concept to production at a global scale.
Drive the development of AI-powered AML and Compliance products for onboarding and ongoing monitoring at a world-leading AML and verification provider.
Own the evolution of automation, AI capabilities, and agentic workflows across the product. Continuously improve accuracy, speed, and user experience while exploring new ways to apply ML and AI to real-world compliance challenges.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Unify AML Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Risk Scoring across our KYC and KYB platforms.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements and commercial needs into technical specifications, REST API schemas, JSON payloads, webhooks, and rule-matching logic.
- Drive feature execution from technical discovery through sprint delivery, deployment, and billing setup for new AML modules.
- Expand detection capabilities for both general and hyper-specific regional crime typologies.
- Lower false-positive rates and investigation costs by fine-tuning name-matching algorithms (fuzzy matching, phonetics, transliteration) and leveraging high-precision automation, including LLM-driven workflows.
- Design monetizable, standalone AML modules and features that drive customer upsell and increase annual contract value (ACV).
- Serve as the technical expert with clients, client facing departments and third-parties.

About You:
- 4+ years of direct Product Management experience in FinTech, RegTech, or B2B SaaS, with deep hands-on exposure to Anti-Financial Crime products (AML Screening, Sanctions/PEP, Transaction Monitoring, or Risk Assessment).
- Former Analysis, Software Developer, QA Engineer, or Technical Architect who transitioned into Product Management—someone who can read code, evaluate API schemas, and discuss backend microservices authoritatively.
- Highly self-driven, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment with high autonomy.
- Fluent English with the ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into clear logic for developers, internal stakeholders, and client compliance executives.
- Comfortable using AI to optimize processes in day-to-day work.
Nice to Have:
- Ability to write SQL queries to validate backend data, analyze edge cases, and measure detection algorithm performance.
- Experience applying LLMs, computer vision, or advanced ML models to unstructured compliance data.
- ACAMS or formal anti-financial crime qualifications.
