Role Overview
As the Technical Product Manager, you will be the technical and administrative linchpin for the Rightsline ecosystem to ensure that all media management tools in the environment are connected into the DRM solution. You will directly oversee the platform’s direction, deployment, configuration, and workflow efficiency for all global business units and the global strategy team. You will act as the bridge between regional stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that the system scales with our global business needs.
What You Will Be Doing
Ownership
- Become the Product Owner of Rightsline for the company setting its direction during each phase of its deployment.
- Participate in in-depth training of the tool and become a “Superuser” of the product who can translate current workflows into future state ones within the product.
- Assist with requirements collection, basic configuration, training, workflow development, and reporting.
Delivery of Rightsline product to all BUs
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Global Strategy leads, Global Media Services, and individual business unit engineers, designers, project managers, and business analysts to translate organizational objectives and user needs into tactical projects and functional requirements.
Global Governance & Standardization
- Partner with Global Architecture, Global Media Services, and the individual business units to establish and enforce system-wide configuration standards to ensure consistency across all business units.

Workflow Design & Optimization
- Partner with Global Technical Engineering Lead and business unit leads to translate complex operational needs into streamlined, automated workflows within the Rightsline and media management tool environment.
Training
- As a Rightsline “Superuser” you will be responsible for creating and executing training sessions for new users of the application.
You Are a Good Match If You Have
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in system administration for a global enterprise SaaS platform. Experience in Rightsline.
Expertise
- Background in IP Management, Legal Operations, contract management, and Media Supply Chain systems.
Leadership
- Proven track record of managing stakeholders across different time zones and business cultures.
Business Analysis
- The ability to understand, document, and map current business processes into a future state environment ensuring that the newest technologies are used to create efficiencies and simplify workflows.
Relationship Building
- Proven relationship builder with strong verbal and written abilities who can diplomatically and effectively work across departmental and national boundaries.
Self-driven/motivated
- Able to see projects and initiatives through to completion.
Experience supporting a distributed team
- Working across global time zones.
Technical Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working with global enterprise SaaS platforms, preferably in a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or platform administration capacity.
- Hands-on experience with Rightsline and understanding of its role within enterprise Digital Rights Management (DRM) workflows. The JD explicitly calls for Rightsline experience.
- Strong background in IP Management, Legal Operations, contract management, or Media Supply Chain systems.
- Experience owning or driving the deployment and evolution of an enterprise platform, including requirements, configuration, workflows, releases, and adoption.
- Ability to translate current business processes into standardized future-state workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and simplification.
- Strong product ownership skills, including setting product direction, gathering requirements, translating user/business needs into functional requirements, and coordinating delivery across teams.
- Experience with REST APIs and webhooks and sufficient technical understanding to work with engineering teams on enterprise system integrations.
- Understanding of data governance and security, including RBAC, SSO, and enterprise security/compliance concepts such as SOC 2.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership, including experience working across different business units, countries, and time zones.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across business, legal, editorial, product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders.
- Experience supporting globally distributed teams and availability to collaborate across the required global time zones.

It Is Beneficial If You Have
- Experience implementing Rightsline at enterprise/global scale, including rollout across multiple business units or brands.
- Experience with media rights and licensing workflows spanning video, images, audio, and fonts.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management, licensing windows, rights validation, or content usage restrictions.
- Experience defining and enforcing global platform governance and configuration standards.
- Experience acting as a platform “Superuser,” including user onboarding, training, documentation, and adoption.
- Experience with Tier 3 support, troubleshooting complex platform issues, and coordinating technical escalations.
- Experience managing SaaS releases and feature rollouts, including evaluating vendor features and validating platform updates.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake or similar analytics/data platforms, particularly for reporting across rights/IP assets.
- Experience with workflow automation and rules-based configuration, such as DateMath or conditional business rules.
- Exposure to AI-powered internal tools used to automate or improve legal and editorial workflows.
