Location: Hybrid - Home, London, Milton Keynes, and various site locations
Salary: £65K - £75K per year basic plus bonus (OTE £75K – £85K+)

The team delivers large-scale world premieres, after-show parties, experiential activations, photoshoots, press conferences, and outside broadcasts. Core capabilities include the design and technical delivery of lighting, LED screens, rigging, and scenic elements. The company’s portfolio includes major film premieres (recent credits include Mobland, The Gentlemen, Practical Magic 2, Supergirl, House of the Dragon, Spiderman, The Devil Wears Prada, The Odyssey) along with international awards ceremonies such as BAFTA, the London Fashion Awards, and the Olivier Awards. With over 160 events per year, Limited Edition Event Design operates in a busy, fast-paced environment that values creativity, precision, and reliability.
Role Description
The Senior Technical Production Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based at home, our office in Milton Keynes and various sites across the UK (mainly Greater London), with a mix of on-site work at events, in-office collaboration, and some work from home. This role oversees end-to-end technical production for a range of events, from concept through delivery, ensuring designs are feasible, safe, and aligned with client expectations and brand requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical planning, managing production schedules, coordinating suppliers and technical crews, and overseeing installation and de-rig of lighting, LED, rigging, audio, and scenic elements. The role involves close collaboration with internal design, production, and client teams to translate creative briefs into robust technical solutions, manage budgets and timelines, and troubleshoot issues on-site. The Senior Technical Production Manager is expected to maintain high standards of health and safety, mentor junior team members, and contribute to improving processes and technical innovation across the business.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in technical production for live events, including lighting, LED, rigging, and scenic solutions.
- Strong production management skills, with experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder event deliveries from planning to execution.
- Proven project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource coordination.
- Experience contributing to product or service development within an events or production environment, such as new technical offerings or workflows.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications, with strong attention to detail and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage suppliers, and build client relationships.
- Track record of working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, ideally within entertainment, film premieres, awards, or large-scale live events.
- Proficiency with relevant production tools and software. A strong knowledge of Vectorworks (2D & 3D), Twin Motion and other 3D design tools along with general Microsoft Office products.
- Understanding of UK health and safety regulations and best practices for live events and temporary structures.

The role will be split between working from home and supporting the team at our office in Milton Keynes as well as working on events in Central London. Some UK & international travel will be required along with some weekend work.

In addition, we offer a highly competitive starting salary of £65K - £75K per year plus discretionary performance related bonus resulting in a final package of £75K - £85K+ per year.
