Technical Project Manager

Insight Global are seeking a Technical Project Manager on behalf of a leading enterprise organisation to join their Project Management Office (PMO). This position will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of multiple technical projects, ensuring teams remain aligned, risks are proactively managed, and projects are delivered with quality and efficiency.

The Technical Project Manager will collaborate across technical services teams, product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to deliver infrastructure and technology initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously while facilitating effective communication, managing dependencies, and removing blockers to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a fully remote position based in the UK. It is a 6-month contract (Inside IR25) to start, with strong possibility for extensions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and drive multiple technical projects and programmes simultaneously.
  • Partner with technical leads and stakeholders to support prioritisation and informed decision-making.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with parallel team priorities.
  • Communicate project risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and the impact of delays or missed milestones.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and collaborate with product teams to support business and operational objectives.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, scrum meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Produce and maintain project plans, status reports, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Build strong working relationships across technical and business teams to drive project success.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Experience managing IT and technology-focused projects within complex environments.
  • Knowledge of data centre infrastructure projects and/or cloud-based infrastructure initiatives.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
  • Strong understanding of Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives within technical teams.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and establish effective working relationships across cross-functional teams.
