Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DSPM Engagement Manager / Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of an enterprise-wide Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Adaptive Data Security Program. This role will manage stakeholder engagement, technical delivery, governance, vendor coordination, and implementation of data-security capabilities across cloud, on-premises, SaaS, databases, data lakes, and enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for cybersecurity, technology, privacy, compliance, risk, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery workshops, steering committees, governance forums, executive briefings, and program communications.
  • Define program scope, objectives, success criteria, delivery plans, and communication strategies.
  • Translate business, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements into actionable DSPM solutions.
  • Own the DSPM roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, resources, and delivery outcomes.
  • Define and manage requirements for data discovery, classification, ownership, lineage, access analysis, and risk scoring.
  • Coordinate onboarding of data sources across cloud platforms, databases, data lakes, file systems, SaaS applications, and collaboration platforms.
  • Manage integrations with DLP, SIEM, SOAR, IAM, PAM, CMDB, encryption, and cloud-security platforms.
  • Lead technical design, proof of concept, testing, deployment, operational readiness, and transition to support.
  • Implement adaptive data-security controls, including dynamic access restrictions, masking, encryption, tokenization, just-in-time access, and enhanced monitoring.
  • Track decisions, actions, assumptions, dependencies, remediation activities, and escalations.
  • Ensure completion of architecture documents, operating procedures, test plans, training materials, and support models.
  • Manage vendors, delivery partners, budgets, schedules, service-level commitments, adoption, and change management.
  • Provide executive reporting and drive continuous improvement of the DSPM program.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, cloud security, or technical program management.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise cybersecurity, DSPM, DLP, data-governance, or data-access programs.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex technology implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of data classification, data governance, IAM, cloud security, encryption, DLP, and security monitoring.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, planning, risk-management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with DSPM and data-security platforms such as BigID, Microsoft Purview, Varonis, Cyberhaven, Securiti, Netskope, Wiz, or Prisma Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle, SQL Server, enterprise data lakes, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, ServiceNow, or comparable tools.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust, least privilege, insider risk, and adaptive access controls.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or CDPSE.
