Brief Description:
The Senior Technical Project Manager has overall responsibility for project delivery throughout the life cycle (initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing). The role's focus is on delivering successful projects within the approved scope, time, and cost, accompanied by highly satisfied customers and project team members. This is accomplished by effectively managing resources across the enterprise and employing project management best practices with respect to people, processes, and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring objectives are achieved across scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risk, communications, procurement, and stakeholder management.
- Lead project planning and execution by validating business requirements, defining project scope, developing schedules, establishing resource plans, and assigning team responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking, and time and expense management to ensure effective resource utilization and achievement of business objectives.
- Partner with customers, sponsors, and business stakeholders to establish governance frameworks, align project objectives, manage expectations, and provide clear executive-level reporting and communications.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating concerns as needed to maintain project momentum and customer confidence.
- Drive project governance, compliance, and delivery assurance by maintaining project plans, status reports, documentation, lessons learned, and governance artifacts in accordance with PMO standards and best practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal and external resources to deliver project outcomes while fostering accountability, collaboration, and high-performance execution.
- Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners, ensuring contractual obligations, deliverables, and service expectations are met.
- Monitor project performance through defined metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support business development and pre-sales activities by contributing delivery expertise to project scoping, solution reviews, effort estimation, resource planning, and proposal development.
- Contribute to the growth and maturity of the PMO practice by standardizing processes, developing reusable methodologies and tools, sharing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate project closure activities, including transition planning, benefits realization tracking, stakeholder sign-off, and lessons learned reviews to support organizational knowledge sharing and future success.

Preferred Qualifications
- Overall 8+ years professional project management experience in applications, software, hardware, and engineered systems solutions of increasing project size and complexity
- Experience leading global, distributed project delivery teams in consulting or professional services environments.
- At least 3 years of professional project management experience with one or more Oracle solutions (e.g., EBS, ASCP, OCI, OIM, OAM, SOA, OBIEE, Hyperion, EDQ, WebCenter, Exadata, Oracle RDBMS, etc.)
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Project management certification
- Professional services consulting
- Ability to travel as needed
- Project management experience with Cloud solutions (OCI, AWS, Azure) preferred

This role may require access to customer environments as a means of providing the necessary support to resolve an issue or inquiries into performance-related issues, or for periodic maintenance and management of the systems. In some instances, these environments may contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (e.g., such as HIPAA-related Personal Health Information - PHI) and Payment Card Information (PCI). Personnel are expected to adhere to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in protecting PII.
