About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Technical Project Management capability, helping project teams design and deliver digital, data, and AI-enabled projects and programmes. You'll manage and lead Agile teams, remove impediments to progress, and keep delivery risks and dependencies on track — bringing delivery experience across AI, Data, and Digital (AD&D) specialties without needing to be hands-on technical. Working closely with your team and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll champion good Agile practice, drive continuous improvement, and help Ascent teams deliver great outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities
- Help project teams design and deliver digital, data, and AI-enabled projects and programmes.
- Manage and lead Agile teams, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and coordination.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress, promoting a productive and efficient work environment.
- Facilitate, track, and manage delivery risks and dependencies.
- Build great relationships with your team and stakeholders.
- Champion good Agile practices within Ascent teams to support our ongoing improvement.
- Focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Bring delivery experience across AI, Data, and Digital (AD&D) specialties, including application modernisation and cloud software development, adapting your approach to the technology context without needing to be hands-on technical.
About You
Our Technical Project Management capability is home to a diverse group of individuals with a common focus to deliver great outcomes for our customers. What we look for:
- Able to demonstrate how you have achieved great outcomes for customers through Agile delivery methods.
- Delivery focused with a desire "to get stuff done."
- A self-starter who can work independently and lead others.
- An ability to identify and overcome impediments.
- A flexible, "can-do" attitude.
- A background in working on software development or data engineering.
- Exposure to AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives (e.g., application modernisation, cloud migration, data platforms, or AI-enabled products) — technology-agnostic, with enough fluency to lead delivery without needing deep technical expertise.
- Motivated to continuously improve.
- Great communication and collaboration skills, with experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders from junior team members to Executive sponsors.
- Able to retrieve data from common tooling to simplify reporting.
- Commercially focused.
