Role Overview
The Greater London Authority is recruiting a Senior Technical Project Officer to support the Mayor’s Infrastructure Coordination Service and the New Homes Accelerator London programme. You will combine project management, technical analysis, stakeholder engagement, and policy development to help address infrastructure barriers affecting new homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and technical workstreams
- Coordinate developers, utility providers, London boroughs, and government partners
- Use infrastructure data, digital tools, and mapping systems to support delivery
- Help stakeholders with different priorities agree on practical next steps
- Monitor performance and develop recommendations for improving infrastructure coordination
- Prepare clear reports and briefings for senior decision-makers

Requirements
You will bring project or programme-management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and an understanding of infrastructure, utilities, development, or planning.

- Salary: £58,217
- Contract: 18-month fixed term, with potential to extend
- Location: Hybrid, anchored at Union Street, London SE1, with up to three office days each week
- Hours: Full-time; the role is open to job-share applications
- Closing date: Thursday 8 October 2026 at 23:59
