Responsibilities
- We receive millions of visitors each month, and content marketing is our primary customer acquisition channel. Your role is to ensure our content is as discoverable as possible across both traditional search engines and AI-powered search.
- Be the technical SEO lead for a team of seven writers.
- Conduct technical SEO audits (site architecture, crawling, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, internal linking, etc.).
- Research, test, and implement new strategies to improve both SEO and AI search visibility (GEO/AEO).
- Conduct regular reporting on rankings, AI citations, CTR, and other key metrics, with recommendations for re-optimization.
- Build AI-assisted workflows for content production, SEO analysis, and reporting.

Requirements
- Outstanding knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and website architecture.
- Excellent analytical skills, with hands-on experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience optimizing content for AI search (GEO/AEO), including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and other AI assistants.
- Strong understanding of structured data (Schema.org), crawling, indexation, and modern web technologies. A background in software development is a plus.
- Experience working closely with both engineering and editorial/content teams.
- Comfortable using AI tools and automation to improve SEO workflows and scale content operations.

Bonus Points
- You've helped scale organic traffic for a startup through content and technical SEO.
- Experience optimizing for platforms beyond Google, including YouTube, Reddit, Perplexity, and other emerging discovery channels.
- Experience with Python, SQL, workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, etc.), and vibe-coding.
- A good dose of ambition, and an even better sense of humor.
