You will manage, direct and supervise Building Support Assistants and Technicians. Your work will support healthcare services that patients, visitors, and colleagues depend on every day.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll carry out maintenance, servicing, fault finding, repairs, calibration, and improvement works across a busy healthcare environment. Our work touches lives every day, and your expertise will help create a safe and effective environment that has a positive impact on communities, supports patient care, and helps impact a better future.

  • Diagnose faults and undertake calibration, testing, validation, and commissioning activities on a wide range of plant and equipment.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with Scottish Health Technical Memorandums and relevant safety standards and procedures.
  • Use Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems and handheld technology to record maintenance activities and provide accurate operational data.
  • Participate in the emergency response team, rotational shift pattern, and on-call rota to support critical hospital operations.
  • Provide technical guidance, support colleagues, and assist specialist contractors while helping maintain high standards of service delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
