We make health happen

At Bupa, we’re passionate about technology. With colleagues, customers, patients, and residents in mind, you’ll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and make a real impact on their lives.

Right from the start, you’ll become part of our digital strategy, joining us on our journey and developing yourself along the way.

As a Senior Technology Delivery Lead

You will drive the delivery of Health Services Mergers & Acquisitions technology initiatives within the Diagnostics and Secondary Care business unit. You’ll oversee IT service integration for acquired entities, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.

This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing complex interdependencies, and enabling high-quality outcomes through iterative planning and collaboration. You will own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle from shaping the vision and roadmap to implementation and benefits realisation, acting as the senior technical point of contact between Change, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.

How you’ll help us make health happen

  • Drive successful delivery of initiatives using Agile practices, managing risks, dependencies, and change to meet business objectives and quality standards.
  • Enable collaboration across Scrum teams and Agile Release Trains, ensuring alignment and smooth delivery.
  • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to maintain a clear, prioritised backlog and roadmap, providing visibility of milestones and success metrics.
  • Foster accountability and psychological safety by ensuring Agile roles are well understood.
  • Build strong relationships with IT, business, and external partners to optimise resources and stay within scope and budget.
  • Contribute to business case development, ensuring alignment with strategy and governance.
  • Provide regular, data-driven updates on progress, forecasts, and risks using Agile metrics.
  • Inspire and coach Agile teams through servant leadership, promoting collaboration and high performance.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with Bupa’s governance, technology frameworks, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve flow, and enhance service delivery.
  • Manage internal and external partners to ensure shared delivery goals and Agile ways of working.
  • Promote Agile standards, tools, and ceremonies to drive consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Lead key ceremonies such as sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning.
  • Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to build a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement and champion Agile transformation across the IT Change community.
  • Demonstrate Bupa’s values — Brave, Caring, Responsible — in all aspects of delivery and leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
