About this role
As Senior Tech Manager leading the Supply Acquisition, Onboarding & Activation domain, you will take overall accountability for the technology strategy and delivery across the full partner journey, from first acquisition through onboarding, KYC, and into long-term activation and growth. Working alongside the domain Product Lead, you will provide technical leadership across several teams, shaping platform choices, engineering capability, and cross-team dependencies, while ensuring the domain delivers against JET's Winning Supply and AI-Powered Product strategic priorities.
This is a senior leadership role, reporting into the Senior Technology Director for Service & Supply. It requires the ability to operate across both the detail of complex technical decisions and the broader organisational landscape.
Key components to the position:
- Lead with purpose – own the technical direction, roadmap and architectural coherence across multiple critical partner-facing platform components.
- Raise the bar – champion engineering excellence, continuous delivery, stability, scalability and security across your teams and the wider platform.
- Bring teams together – foster strong collaboration across Engineering, Product, UX and Delivery, ensuring teams are aligned and helping one another succeed.
- Own delivery – provide technical leadership across multiple teams, ensuring complex projects and product releases deliver quality, value and impact.
- Think beyond today – balance short-term product delivery with longer-term platform investment, identifying opportunities to improve the architecture and technology estate.
- Make complexity simple – guide solution design and help teams navigate technical constraints, dependencies, risks and blockers before they impact delivery.
- Develop great people – lead and support Managers and multiple teams of Engineers at all levels, while coaching other technology leaders and building a high-performance culture.
- Influence beyond your teams – manage stakeholder expectations, build strong relationships and influence priorities and backlogs across Product, Technology and commercial functions.
- Own the outcomes – use data, customer and partner insight to measure success and drive improvements in partner experience, operational performance and perfect orders.
- Operate at scale – oversee critical services deployed through our AWS environment, managing budgets, suppliers and technology partnerships to deliver lasting impact.

What will you bring to the team?
- Strong technology leadership – proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and delivering meaningful business outcomes in a technology leadership or management role.
- People-first leadership – experience developing Managers and Engineering teams, creating high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Broad technical understanding – able to operate confidently across complex technology estates, with an understanding of cloud, distributed systems and modern software engineering practices.
- Customer and product focus – strong understanding of B2B and B2C products, with the ability to connect technology decisions to customer, partner and commercial outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management – able to build trusted relationships, influence senior stakeholders and bring people together around shared goals and decisions.
- Commercial mindset – understands how technology priorities connect to business objectives, budgets, growth and measurable customer and partner value.
- Delivery excellence – a strong track record of successfully delivering software, product releases and complex technical initiatives while maintaining quality and pace.
- Strategic problem solving – comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems independently, while making pragmatic decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term value.
- Collaborative and accountable – someone who breaks down silos, takes ownership of results and creates an environment where teams support one another to succeed.
- Adaptable and improvement-focused – curious, proactive and comfortable with change, always looking for better ways to improve products, services, processes and engineering practices.
