Senior Technology Platform & Integration Engineer | High-Growth Specialty MGA | Bristol (Hybrid) | £60,000 – £80,000K
About the Company
Our client is a modern, high-growth specialty MGA dedicated to bringing technical excellence, operational agility, and data-led decision-making to the insurance marketplace. Having tripled their number this year, they continue to invest in the people, processes, and technology that will shape the future of their business.
Operating in an incredibly fast-paced, high-growth scale-up environment, they champion absolute autonomy, radical ownership, and operational agility. They move dynamically from start-up flexibility to scale-up discipline, meaning they listen well, move fast, and empower their people to execute without layers of corporate bureaucracy or hand-holding. If a candidate thrives in a rapid-iteration culture where they are trusted to define the roadmap, make high-impact decisions, and see their work directly move the business forward every single day, they will find a massive opportunity here.
About the Role
As the Senior Technology Platform & Integration Engineer, you will be the creative, technical, and operational "glue" driving the core technology ecosystem for a modern, fast-scaling InsurTech platform dedicated to bringing technical excellence, operational agility, and seamless automation to the insurance marketplace.
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering / CTO, this senior hands-on role is built for a versatile engineer who comfortably bridges the gap between foundational cloud platform security and complex software or data integrations. Rather than acting as the primary service desk, business change owner, or QA approver, you will operate through clear controls alongside the IT Configuration Analyst, Change, Data, and QA teams.
In this position, you will take true ownership of the cloud and security platforms, automate vital data connections across core systems (including Instanda, Synergy/Elevate Claims Cloud, Fabric, and Vitesse), lead major incident responses, and enforce robust release governance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
