Life on the team

Location: Hatfield, other UK sites considered.
Dept: Customer Enablement
Additional comments: Must be a fluent French speaker

Customer Enablement is part of the Delivery function within Group Information Services (GIS). The team is responsible for managing and delivering tooling solutions that underpin our contractual services to customers. From onboarding new customers and managing complex change through to renewals and offboarding, we help ensure the right tooling is understood, planned and delivered.

Collaboration is central to how we work. We partner with colleagues across Computacenter to develop tooling designs that support positive customer outcomes and can be delivered effectively. Our work is varied and offers opportunities to contribute to customer solutions, improve ways of working, and build technical knowledge.

This role reports to the Head of Solutions within Customer Enablement and forms part of a global team. This is a dynamic and varied role where no two days are the same. This role offers a real opportunity to shape solutions, support transition readiness, and make a visible impact for customers and colleagues.

What you'll do

  • Support pre-sales engagements: Represent GIS across a range of pre-sales opportunities, contributing to Computacenter’s bid process and helping to balance customer, business and technology requirements within effective tooling solutions.
  • Make the complex simple: Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable solution designs and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support standards alignment: Promote our agreed standards and provide practical consultancy to help stakeholders understand how customer requirements can be aligned to them. Clearly identify and escalate where a deviation may be required.
  • Contribute to commercial clarity: Provide accurate solution inputs, assumptions and supporting information to help stakeholders understand the scope, effort and cost of the proposed tooling solution.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to improve tooling solutions, processes and ways of working, helping to increase efficiency and deliver better outcomes for customers.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Build effective working relationships with customers, project teams and internal stakeholders. Provide timely updates, raise issues when needed, and support collaborative solution decisions.
  • Insight and reporting: Contribute to team reporting and documentation, helping to identify recurring issues, emerging themes and areas for improvement, while keeping relevant stakeholders informed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
