About the role:
PwC is expanding its Aerospace & Defence technology consulting team, helping public and private sector Defence organisations improve efficiency and effectiveness through technology-led transformation. You will identify, secure and deliver complex transformation projects, drawing on Defence sector experience, industry networks and consultative sales expertise. You should bring skills in areas such as IT strategy and architecture, technology programme delivery, IT service management, application and infrastructure modernisation, or IT operating models and sourcing transformation. Joining a fast-growing team, you will help clients solve critical challenges while contributing to the growth of PwC’s Defence technology practice and market presence.
What your days will look like:
- Leverage Defence sector knowledge and professional networks to identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the Aerospace & Defence market.
- Support and drive growth in large-scale technology transformation services by researching client needs, shaping new propositions and supporting market development initiatives.
- Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across Defence organisations and the wider ecosystem to support successful engagement delivery and business growth.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex technology-enabled transformation programmes for major UK public sector and Defence clients.
- Support the development of PwC’s Defence technology capability by improving tools, methodologies and ways of working that help clients achieve better operational outcomes.
- Oversee programme delivery, including commercial management, risk and issue resolution, leading and developing high-performing teams, mentoring colleagues, supporting performance development, and growing cloud, data and technology consulting expertise.

This role is for you if:
- UK sole national eligible for BPSS and SC security clearance.
- Proven Defence sector experience with strong networks across public sector and industry stakeholders.
- Deliver technology-enabled transformation programmes, including strategy, architecture, service delivery or modernisation initiatives.
- Apply relationship-building skills, able to influence and collaborate across teams, departments and organisations.
- Confident driving change, interpreting strategic priorities and gaining stakeholder trust to achieve transformation outcomes.
- Excellent commercial, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage budgets, timelines and risks while delivering data-driven recommendations.
