Senior Temporary Works Advisor
We're looking for a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to join our team based in various locations. Kier Design are a highly regarded Tier 1 Contractor, with a 750 plus strong design consultancy team, recognised as a Top 30 employer on Glassdoor. Join us as a Senior Traffic Management Designer and become part of one of the UK's leaders in temporary works design and management and construction-related technical services. As part of our team of temporary traffic management designers, you'll get to work on hundreds of projects across one of the most diverse and high-profile portfolios in the country, with access to Kier's £11bn+ project pipeline – supporting complex construction and major infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery.
Location: Nationwide
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Are you…
- An Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) or have significant experience in a similar role
- Holding a full driving licence
- Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Trusted and committed to delivering what you promise while acting safely and ethically
- Focused with a clear, disciplined, and thorough approach to your work
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Temporary Works Advisor, You'll Be Working Within The Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Construction Engineering Services And Temporary Works Compliance. Your Day To Day Will Include
- Advising on the effective implementation of the Group Temporary Works Standard and associated guidance
- Providing technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation
- Undertaking formal and informal temporary works compliance audits of projects and frameworks
- Supporting tender and bid winning activities including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and value engineering
- Providing design management advice and coordination, acting as lead designer where required
