Senior Temporary Works Advisor

We're looking for a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to join our team based in Birmingham / Cardiff / Leeds / Liverpool / London / Plymouth

Location

Birmingham / Cardiff / Leeds / Liverpool / London / Plymouth – agile working, with up to 1-2 days per week from home if desired

Hours

40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Temporary Works Advisor, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction engineering services. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, offering technical guidance on temporary works and supporting projects from tender stage through to completion.

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Advising on the effective implementation of temporary works standards and providing technical guidance on design and implementation
  • Undertaking compliance audits and recording findings to support continuous improvement
  • Supporting bid winning activities, including outline designs, feasibility studies and value engineering solutions
  • Providing design management advice and technical assessment of third-party designs
  • Resolving technical issues and supporting incident investigations, whilst delivering training and mentoring to enhance team capabilities

This role of Senior Temporary Works Advisor is great for you if:

  • You're an incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) with relevant experience, or have significant experience in a similar role
  • You hold a Full driving licence
  • You enjoy working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to reach innovative solutions
  • You're trusted to deliver what you promise, acting safely and ethically at all times
  • You're focused and disciplined in your approach, ensuring thorough delivery for clients and customers
