Pay: Β£500/day πŸ’·

Employment Type: Contract, ongoing

About Us πŸ‘‹

We're a small UK software studio building systems for clients who can't afford them to break. We recently won a multi-year public sector contract against considerably bigger competitors, and we won it on the strength of the bid itself rather than the size of our team. We don't have a bid department. We have two directors and a deadline. We're looking for someone to change that.

Role overview πŸ₯

As our Senior Tender Advisor, you'll own how we find, choose and win public sector work. This isn't a form-filling role. Some of the most valuable work you'll do is telling us which tenders to walk away from. You'll work directly with the directors, with nobody sitting between you and the decision.

Responsibilities πŸ”¨

  • Identify and qualify opportunities across Find a Tender, Contracts Finder and the major framework portals.
  • Own bid responses end to end: SQ/PQQ, ITT, method statements, social value, pricing narrative.
  • Keep us compliant and current under the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Build a reusable bid library so we stop answering the same questions from scratch.
  • Run debriefs and post-award feedback, and feed what we learn into the next bid.
  • Advise on go/no-go honestly, including when the honest answer is no.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for πŸ”

A real track record of winning UK public sector tenders, with the scars to prove it. Sharp, plain writing that an evaluator understands on the first read. Working knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and what actually changed under it. Comfort in a small team, where the process is whatever you build. Tech sector experience is a bonus, not a requirement. We can teach you what we do; we can't teach you fifteen years of knowing how buyers think.
