Senior Manager, Tender Management
Location: Flexible, UK locations (Mercia Park, Stoke on Trent, Northampton, Raunds, Peterborough)
37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Tender Management function within DSV's Contract Logistics business. In this strategic leadership role, you will manage a team of Tender Managers and drive complex, high-value bid opportunities from qualification through to contract award.
Working closely with Business Development, Solution Design, Operations, Finance and Legal teams, you will develop winning bid strategies, compelling value propositions and customer-focused proposals that support business growth and strengthen DSV's competitive position.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the end-to-end tender process, ensuring high-quality, compliant and customer-focused proposals.
- Develop bid strategies, win themes and value propositions that clearly differentiate DSV.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create commercially robust and innovative logistics solutions.
- Apply and champion APMP best practices across the bid lifecycle, driving governance, consistency and continuous improvement.
- Lead customer presentations, negotiations and clarification meetings during tender processes.
- Analyse win/loss trends and customer feedback to improve bid performance and conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate opportunity management within Dynamics CRM and provide performance insights.
- Coach, mentor and develop a high-performing Tender Management team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

About You
- Significant experience in Bid Management, Tender Management or a similar commercial leadership role.
- Proven success leading complex bids and securing large-scale logistics or supply chain contracts.
- Strong understanding of tender management, proposal development, commercial models and contract negotiations.
- Experience applying recognised bid methodologies, with APMP certification desirable.
- Automotive sector experience is advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop customer-focused, profitable solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence across multiple functions and seniority levels.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and proposal writing skills.
- Highly organised, analytical and able to manage multiple strategic opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
