Senior Tender Planner – Civil Engineering
Location: Manchester
Salary: £95,000 + car / allowance + package
Job Type: Permanent

Onshore Technical are currently looking to speak with experienced Senior Tender Planners for a permanent opportunity based in Manchester. This role will sit within a work winning team, supporting the planning and programme input for major civil engineering tenders, with projects valued up to £500m.
This is a great opportunity for a planner with a strong civil engineering background who enjoys the pre-construction and bid environment, and wants to play a key role in developing robust, buildable and competitive tender programmes.
The Role
As Senior Tender Planner, you will support the development of tender programmes and planning submissions across major civil engineering and infrastructure opportunities.

You will work closely with bid, estimating, commercial, pre-construction and operational teams to develop programmes that reflect the construction methodology, key constraints, sequencing, resources and delivery strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop tender programmes for major civil engineering projects
- Support work winning teams with planning and programme input
- Review tender information, drawings, scope and methodology
- Identify key programme risks, constraints and opportunities
- Support the development of construction sequencing and buildability
- Work closely with estimating, commercial and operational teams
- Contribute to bid submissions and client-facing tender information
- Help ensure programmes are realistic, competitive and deliverable

Experience Required
- Senior planning experience within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Strong tender planning / work winning background
- Experience supporting bids on major projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and buildability
- Ability to work with estimating, commercial and delivery teams
- Confident developing tender programmes and planning narratives
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects desirable
