About The Role
Sulzer, is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and servicing of pumps and fluid handling systems. We supply utilities and industrial clients with advanced pump technology and aftermarket services. Our solutions deliver reliability, performance, and peace of mind, from clean water to wastewater, energy to chemicals.
We’re looking for a Senior Tendering Engineer to play a key role in our front-end operations, delivering both high-volume quotes and complex, high-value tenders that shape the future of our commercial success.
Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver a high volume of quick-turnaround quotes as well as detailed, multi-disciplinary bids for complex projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, hydraulics, costing, and sales teams to optimise technical and commercial solutions.
- Lead pricing strategy and commercial terms for UK tenders, ensuring competitive and profitable offers.
- Support contract negotiations with confidence and precision, protecting Sulzer’s interests.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and win rates.
- Champion best practices in tendering, quoting, and customer service.

What You Bring
- Experience in the pump industry or a closely related engineering field.
- Proven ability to manage both high-volume quoting and complex, high-value tenders.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of pricing strategies, contract terms, and margin protection.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to act independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.
