Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation
This role will be based in our Hebburn office and will require you to work in the office for 3 days per week, and the rest can be remotely.

Your Role
- Lead end-to-end tender development for sophisticated electrical infrastructure projects.
- Lead tender kick-off meetings to brief colleagues on requirements and identify key opportunities and risks.
- Advise business leadership team on Bid/No bid decision based on strategic goals and resources.
- Prepare tenders according to procedures and Signature Protocols before client submission.
- Consult legal and commercial teams on Terms and Conditions as needed.
- Drive technical innovation in Medium Voltage Switchgear and Protection systems.
- Build positive relationships with factories, customers, and technical teams.
- Participate in business improvement, cost reduction and sales stimulation ideas creation and delivery to the overall benefit of the business.
- Champion customer-focused solutions that deliver real value.

What You'll Bring
- Significant experience in bid/project/commercial management role, from an engineering project-based business, in a regulated industry.
- Extensive experience in Medium Voltage Switch gear and Protection and Automation sectors would be desirable.
- A drive to achieve strong customer satisfaction with a Service Mindset.
- Curious about technologies.
- Evidence of working in cross-functional teams and ability to develop strong relationships and work cohesively across functions.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels, technical, non-technical, verbal and written.
- Pro-active and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise to tight/challenging deadlines.
