We’re looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our Test Services team within Group Technology & Change. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of our systems, supporting the delivery of new and enhanced technology solutions across Royal London.

Reporting to a Technical Lead or Lead Test Analyst, you’ll take ownership of complex testing activities, using your technical expertise to design, execute and improve both functional and non-functional testing. You’ll also support and mentor other Test Analysts, helping to raise standards and capability across the team.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to influence testing strategy, introduce improvements and work closely with delivery teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.

About the role

  • Analysing functional and non-functional requirements to define robust testing approaches
  • Designing and executing reusable manual and automated test scripts and regression packs
  • Planning, estimating and scheduling test activities across delivery phases
  • Specifying requirements for test environments, data, tools and resources
  • Executing complex tests, recording outcomes and maintaining clear traceability back to requirements
  • Identifying, diagnosing and reporting defects, working closely with delivery teams to resolve issues
  • Producing test progress, quality and risk reports, supported by meaningful metrics
  • Reviewing test results and refining tests where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
