Overview
We're looking for an experienced and talented Senior Test Analyst with expertise within the Cards & Payments domain to join us at Expleo.
This role will involve defining testing practices and upholding quality in line with Agile principles. As a collaborative team member, you will engage frequently with different stakeholders to ensure that development tasks align with requirements and are executed with utmost quality within the designated sprint periods.
This is a permanent position based in Basildon, full time on-site.
Responsibilities
- Building a strong understanding of end-to-end Cards domain & Functionalities within (e.g. Acquiring, Collections, Payments, Interest Calculation, Instalments), user journeys & processes, their supporting technologies
- Work with end customer team(s) and internal colleagues
- POS device testing:
- POS devices: Clover Flex, PAX devices: A920, A50, A920pro, A80 etc
- Payment application Testing, Softpos, Smartpos testing
- End to End Merchant Payment processing system Testing
- Design acceptance tests under own direction, using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications/acceptance criteria
- Work collaboratively as an integrated member of the team
- Ensure business requirements and specifications/acceptance criteria are enough to define test conditions
- Execute, record, and analyse test results, identify, and report defects, issues and risks associated with own work
- Contribute to the extension of the automation test coverage and associated tests
- Support the integration of an automated testing strategy into the agile framework
- Identify areas for testing improvement and work with the team to implement appropriate agile practices

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- ISEB/ISTQB qualified
Essential skills
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Cards domain & Functionalities within (e.g. Acquiring, Collections, Payments, Interest Calculation, Instalments), user journeys & processes, their supporting technologies
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal and team-working abilities.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Has a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and related testing practices.
- Capable of defining test techniques and coverage for requirement testing.
- An analytical thinker with robust problem-solving skills.
- Maintains attention to detail while being concise.
Experience
- Cards Domain experience is a must
- Prior experience in Cards projects & Platform Implementations
