The Role
Resillion is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst - Manual – Financial Services to support a major Banking and Financial Services client. This role will focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications through comprehensive test analysis, planning, execution, and defect management across complex testing programmes.
The successful candidate will have proven experience delivering testing activities within Banking and Financial Services environments and possess strong end-to-end testing expertise across large-scale technology change initiatives.

- Review business, functional, and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
- Design, prepare, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scripts.
- Perform Functional, Integration, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End, and Regression Testing.
- Validate business processes and system functionality within SIT and pre-production environments.
- Identify, log, manage, and track defects through to resolution.
- Conduct impact assessments and support root cause analysis of defects and production issues.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
- Support test planning, test estimation, and test execution activities across multiple projects.
- Produce regular test execution reports and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure testing activities comply with governance, risk, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing function.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support project delivery milestones.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst, Manual Test Analyst, or QA Test Analyst.
- Demonstrable experience working within Banking and Financial Services environments.
- Strong experience in:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- End-to-End Testing
- Regression Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
- Experience creating and executing detailed test cases and test scripts.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
- Experience with defect management and test management tools such as:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- HP ALM / Quality Center
- TestRail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

Desirable Skills
- Experience working on banking transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of Retail Banking, Payments, Lending, Wealth Management, or Financial Platforms.
- Exposure to API testing and data validation.
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Certification.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
