Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst / Test Lead (SFIA Level 5) to join our team.
You will provide technical leadership across multiple CRM delivery work streams, owning test strategy and quality assurance for services built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will guide and mentor junior testers, engage senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices across blended Agile delivery teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience as a Senior Test Analyst, Test Lead, or equivalent role within complex enterprise CRM programmes.
- Deep hands-on expertise testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions across multiple project lifecycles.
- Proven ability to design and implement test automation frameworks from scratch using tools such as:
- Cypress
- Selenium WebDriver
- Equivalent automation frameworks
- Strong experience leading BDD practices using:
- Gherkin
- Cucumber
- Similar BDD frameworks
- Advanced experience using Azure DevOps for:
- Test management
- Pipeline integration
- Defect tracking
- Reporting
- Advanced API testing experience using Postman.
- Strong database testing experience using SQL Server.
- Experience creating and maintaining:
- Test Strategies
- Test Plans
- Quality Assurance Frameworks
- Governance Documentation
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing junior testing professionals.
- Experience advising on resource planning, test approaches, and quality strategies for large-scale digital programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- ISTQB Test Manager certification (or equivalent), such as CSTM.
- Experience working within government or public sector digital delivery environments, including:
- GDS Standards
- GDPR
- Information Security requirements
- Agile delivery methodologies

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- PL-200
- PL-400
- AZ-900
- AI-900
- Previous experience within government or highly regulated environments.
- Experience developing performance and load testing strategies.
- Knowledge of:
- Power Pages
- Power Automate
- Azure Functions
- Familiarity with C# plug-in development or JavaScript customisations within Dynamics 365 environments.
- Experience supporting security-focused testing and Information Technology Health Check (ITHC) activities.
