Your new role

A leading global investment bank with a strong presence in Trade Finance technology, delivering advanced solutions across multiple financial products. The organisation operates in a highly regulated environment and provides enterprise-scale platforms supporting complex transactional workflows and cross-border financial services.

You will be responsible for driving end-to-end (E2E) testing activities across Trade Finance applications, with a primary focus on the Eximbills Enterprise platform. The role involves executing System Integration Testing (SIT), functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across various Trade Finance products and workflows. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to translate requirements into robust test scenarios, ensuring full test coverage. The role will also involve preparing and validating test data, supporting UAT phases, and contributing to test planning, reporting, and defect management.

A key aspect of the position is validating both inbound and outbound interfaces to ensure accurate data flow across systems, including SWIFT messaging, General Ledger postings, and downstream impacts. The position requires hands-on involvement in testing the full lifecycle of Trade Finance transactions, including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Collections, ensuring that all workflows operate seamlessly across integrated platforms while meeting regulatory and audit requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in SIT, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing within financial services
  • Proven knowledge of Trade Finance products and full transaction lifecycles, including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Collections
  • Hands-on experience testing the Eximbills Enterprise platform or similar Trade Finance systems
  • Solid understanding of interface testing, including SWIFT messaging, General Ledger validation, and downstream system impacts
  • Experience reviewing requirements (BPRDs, functional specs, user stories) to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Familiarity with defect management and test tools such as JIRA, and ability to support UAT phases
  • Ability to perform data validation and backend testing (e.g. SQL querying)
  • In-depth knowledge of system testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to operate across complex, integrated system landscapes
